OverviewAs group director Dr. Samei explains (see video to the right), "The goal of advanced imaging development is to move medical imaging to new frontiers, seeing through the human body in ways not possible in the past, and processing and displaying images such that the best medical decisions can be made." To realize these goals, the Duke Advanced Imaging Labs (DAI Labs) is pursuing a wide range of research projects as highlighted below. Our research has broad application such as to breast imaging, chest imaging, and molecular imaging. Each boldfaced link below leads to a separate page with more details and images. In addition, check out our Publications page which includes selected papers representing these topics. |
